The GTA 6 opportunity

#### Why GTA 6 can help streamers get discovered.

Someone can watch a GTA 6 clip before they have ever heard of the streamer. The game gives them a familiar subject; the creator’s reaction, story or personality gives them someone to follow.

That is our thesis: a major cultural event can make a strong clip easier to discover. Streamers produce the footage. Clippers find the moments. RUCKUS brings the campaign and the people together.

How clipping works

#### How a clipping campaign works.

A creator or brand funds a campaign. You edit their approved footage and post from your own accounts. RUCKUS handles the brief, coordination and review; Content Rewards tracks submissions and earnings.

-

##### Choose a campaign

Check the source footage, platforms, rate, payout cap and guidelines. Read the examples before you start.

-

##### Edit to the brief

Keep the moment clear. Use the required server logo, creator handle or “playing on” banner, and follow the brief’s caption style.

-

##### Post & submit

Publish on the approved account with the required tags and ad disclosure. Submit the public link within the campaign’s deadline.

-

##### Review & payout

The submission is checked against the brief. Approved work earns under the campaign’s payout rules; withdrawals run through Whop.

A relationship system, built through work

#### RUCKUS connects creators, clippers and RP communities.

We see GTA 6 as a potential streaming goldmine. Those streamers will need clippers and editors. RP communities can give them places and stories to film. We want to build the relationships between all three.

#### Campaign FAQs

What does RUCKUS handle?

Campaign planning, a curated source pack, the brief and editing examples, clipper coordination, submission review and reporting. The agreed scope defines output, platforms, review coverage and budget.

Who posts the clips?

Clippers publish to their approved social accounts for distribution campaigns. Editing for your own channels is a separate production scope. We agree which model you need before launch.

What budget do I need?

Campaign budgets start at $3,000. The 20% RUCKUS studio fee is billed separately to the buyer. Production and platform charges are quoted separately. Your campaign stays in your own Content Rewards organization.

Can a creator and RP owner fund one campaign together?

Yes, this can be scoped if the footage permissions, approval contact, budget contributions and reporting goals are agreed before launch. Server features should not be represented as available unless they are live.

## Campaign budgets

[Skip to content](https://gta6clipping.com/guides/what-it-costs#main-content)

[GTA 6 Clipping](https://gta6clipping.com/) / What it costs

### What it costs

RUCKUS campaigns start at $3,000, the RUCKUS fee is 20% of the approved budget invoiced separately, and this page shows you where every other dollar goes.

[A RUCKUS Clipping site](https://ruckusclipping.com/) GTA 6 Clipping is not affiliated with or endorsed by Rockstar Games, Rockstar North, Take-Two Interactive or other rightsholders. Grand Theft Auto and all related marks and images belong to their owners. This is an independent clipping network run by fans of the game.

#### The two numbers RUCKUS publishes

RUCKUS runs campaigns from a $3,000 approved budget. The RUCKUS fee is 20% of that approved budget, invoiced to the buyer separately. RUCKUS never takes a cut of the clipper pot and sells nothing to clippers. Those two figures are the whole of our published price, and the terms sit on [the pricing page](https://ruckusclipping.vercel.app/pricing).

RUCKUS is a studio and creator services business, and campaign funds never pass through us. You fund your own campaign inside your own organization on Content Rewards. The platform pays clippers out of that pot on its own schedule. We write the brief, run the roster and the review queue, and invoice you for the work.

#### The cost stack on a $3,000 campaign

| Line | Who charges it | What it is
| Campaign budget | You fund it in your own organization | $3,000, the RUCKUS floor
| RUCKUS fee | RUCKUS, invoiced separately | $600, being 20% of the approved budget
| Platform fee | Content Rewards, on its own schedule | 10% of the budget, or 8% for a verified organization
| Creator fee | Content Rewards, on its own schedule | A flat 10%

The bottom two lines are Content Rewards' published schedule and not a RUCKUS rate. The stack above is the CPM version of that schedule: Content Rewards also states that the flat creator fee does not apply to per-post or retainer deals at $5,000 or more. Content Rewards states its own minimum campaign budget at $1,000, which is a platform fact rather than a price offered here. The platform can change that schedule without telling us, so read the current version inside your organization before you fund anything.

#### The three levers you control

You set all three before a single clip goes live, and together they decide what you spend.

##### 1. The rate per 1,000 verified views

The rate is the price you put on a thousand views the platform can verify. The platform counts only the views its own tracking recognises on the post the clipper submitted, and it strips bought views and bot traffic before it releases money. A higher rate prices your brief against every other brief a clipper can pick from, and it empties the pot faster. How many clippers any rate brings in is not something we or anyone else can tell you in advance.

For market context only, entertainment and gaming campaigns generally sit in a published band of $0.20 to $1.00 per 1,000 views. That is market context read off other companies' published campaign boards. It is not a RUCKUS rate and not a promise about what any rate will do for you.

##### 2. The per-clip cap

A per-clip cap is the most any one clip can earn, however far that clip travels. Set it before you fund anything. Without a cap, a single clip with enough verified views can take the whole pot, and your whole budget goes to one post from one account.

For an illustration, reserve 10% of a $3,000 funded budget for platform fees. That leaves a $2,700 gross reward pool. At a $250 per-clip cap, spending that pool requires at least eleven approved clips. Actual allocation follows the platform’s funding breakdown; eligible views and approval determine whether the budget is spent.

##### 3. The total cap

The total cap is the campaign's hard ceiling, and on a funded campaign it is the pot itself. The platform stops paying the moment that pot is exhausted, so your maximum exposure is a number you set on day one. You can cap by date as well, which closes the campaign on a calendar day rather than on a balance.

##### The five settings you fix before launch

Rate | What you pay per 1,000 verified views. Every clipper reads it on the brief.
Per-clip cap | The most one clip can earn. Leave it blank and one post takes the pot.
Total cap | The hard ceiling. The platform stops paying when the pot is gone.
Minimum view threshold | The floor a clip clears before it earns anything. Raise it and clips below that view count earn nothing.
Window and hold | Content Rewards currently counts CPM views for 7 days, then holds payouts 3 days. That decides when money leaves your pot.

#### Model your own settings

Use the [interactive budget calculator](https://ruckusclipping.com/pricing#calculator) to change the budget, rate, platform reserve and cap together. It shows capacity at full eligible spend, with the studio fee and processing allowance separate from rewards.

#### What the 20% covers

The work is written out on [how it works](https://ruckusclipping.vercel.app/how-it-works), so this page does not repeat it: the brief built to a published standard, the roster, the review queue, the denial list published before anyone submits, and the reporting afterwards. Our verification standard sits on [the verification page](https://ruckusclipping.vercel.app/verification), and [the comparison page](https://ruckusclipping.vercel.app/compare) covers running a campaign yourself or hiring elsewhere.

#### Costs that never appear as a line item

- Disclosure. Every clipper paid to post says so at the start of the video and switches on the platform's paid-content tool. The FTC Endorsement Guides put that duty on the person posting. It costs you nothing, and RUCKUS publishes an undisclosed paid post as a denial reason.

- Source material. You supply the footage or approve the sources. Clips pulled from outside that material are a denial reason on our briefs and a takedown risk on the platforms.

- Your own time. Someone on your side approves the brief, answers questions on source material and signs off the caps.

- Nothing from clippers. RUCKUS charges clippers no joining fee, no paid tier and no course, now or later.

#### What the GTA 6 launch does to the price

GTA 6 reaches consoles on 19 November 2026. Nobody publishes a rate card for attention around a launch, so if a seller quotes you one, ask what it is based on. Roleplay runs on PC and no PC version of GTA 6 has been announced, so nobody can date GTA 6 roleplay and you should refuse to let anyone price a campaign against one. Rockstar acquired Cfx.re in 2023 and has never announced GTA 6 support for Cfx.re or FiveM; treat those as two separate facts. RUCKUS is not affiliated with or endorsed by Rockstar Games or Take-Two Interactive. [The window](https://gta6clipping.com/guides/the-window) covers the timing question.

RUCKUS has run no paid campaigns

You will find no client list, no case study and no screenshot anywhere on this site, because RUCKUS has not run a paid campaign yet. Inventing one would break the FTC rules on endorsements and testimonials. The prices here are published prices, not prices someone has paid. The studio is recruiting and reviewing its clipper bench ahead of the console launch.

#### Questions, answered

##### Is the 20% taken out of the clipper pot?

No. You fund the campaign budget inside your own organization and the platform pays clippers out of it directly. RUCKUS invoices you separately for 20% of the approved budget, and that invoice never touches the pot. We take no percentage of what any clipper earns.

##### Why is the RUCKUS minimum $3,000 when the platform allows less?

Our managed service starts with a $3,000 campaign budget and a $600 studio fee. We agree a focused brief and realistic delivery scope for that budget before work starts. The platform’s self-managed minimum and fees are separate from our offer.

##### What happens to budget the campaign does not spend?

It stays in your organization, because the money was never ours to hold. Pots close with a balance when clips get denied, when clips land under the threshold, or when you close the campaign early. The platform's terms govern that balance and any withdrawal. RUCKUS does not rebate its fee against unspent budget, because the fee is charged on the approved budget for work already done.

##### Can I start smaller than $3,000 to test it?

Not with RUCKUS. The $3,000 floor applies to every campaign, and we would rather tell you now than take a smaller budget we cannot do the work on. You can run a smaller campaign yourself at the platform's own minimum, and if you do, read [how a brief gets written](https://gta6clipping.com/guides/briefing-a-campaign) first and set a per-clip cap before anything goes live.

[Skip to content](https://gta6clipping.com/guides/launch-week#main-content)

[GTA 6 Clipping](https://gta6clipping.com/) / Launch week

### Launch week

GTA 6 reaches consoles on 19 November 2026, and everything that decides how your campaign runs that week gets signed, briefed and staffed before the date.

#### What 19 November actually is

Rockstar ships GTA 6 to consoles on 19 November 2026. That date opens a window, not a payday. Expect a week in which an unusual number of people go looking for GTA 6 footage. Nobody can tell you in advance how much of that attention a campaign reaches, and RUCKUS will not. What you do decide in advance is the aim: book the week as a sales event and you get one shot at it, book it to build an audience and you are playing for what is left in December.

RUCKUS is a studio and creator services business, not affiliated with or endorsed by Rockstar Games or Take-Two Interactive. We have run no paid campaigns, so nothing here reports a past result or predicts one for you.

#### What you sign and brief before the date

Launch week punishes anything unfinished. Work backwards from the date.

| When | What the buyer finishes | Why it cannot wait
| 4 weeks out | Sign the engagement. Agree the brief: rate, minimum views, per-clip cap, platforms, denial list. | Clippers read the brief before they cut. Change it on day 2 and you waste posted work.
| 3 weeks out | Fund your own campaign in your own organization. | Funding clears on the platform's schedule, not yours.
| 2 weeks out | Hand over source material and the rights position on every asset. | Your reviewer has to know what is allowed before volume starts.
| 10 days out | Name the reviewers, their hours and a backup. | Reviewers are the constraint. You cannot recruit one on day 1.
| 5 days out | Run a dry campaign. Approve and deny real clips. | A dry run exposes a vague denial reason for free.

You fund your own campaign, the platform pays clippers out of that pot, and RUCKUS invoices you separately at 20% of the approved budget, never out of the clipper pot. Campaigns start at $3,000 and we sell nothing to clippers. More on [the pricing page](https://ruckusclipping.vercel.app/pricing).

#### Why your review speed beats clip quality

A clip you approve six hours after submission beats a better clip you approve two days later. The better clip is still better. The moment it was cut for has gone, and the platform has stopped pushing it. You paid for both and only one stood in front of anyone.

Clippers also spend their week on buyers who answer, so a queue that stalls on day 1 loses your best people to a campaign that answers on day 2.

The number to settle before the 19th

Pick the maximum hours a clip can sit in your queue, print it on the brief, and staff to that number. A buyer who publishes twelve hours and holds it beats one who publishes four and misses.

#### Staffing the queue for volume

- Two reviewers minimum, on opposite clocks. Clips arrive at 3am, and one reviewer going offline is how most queues stall.

- Decide the ambiguous cases in advance. Every hour your reviewer waits on you is an hour clips sit unreviewed.

- Deny fast and say why. A clipper told at hour four recuts that day. One told on day 3 has made four more.

- Do not move the standard mid-week. Tightening the brief on day 4 punishes the people who followed it on day 1.

#### The source-material pipeline

Clippers cannot cut what they cannot reach, so refill the pipeline daily that week rather than once. Name the allowed sources in the brief and name nothing else, because footage from outside that list is both a denial reason and a takedown risk. Drop new material on a fixed schedule, keep the files openable on a phone, and mark the rights position on anything a partner handed you.

One rule is not yours to waive. A clipper you pay to post has a material connection to you and discloses it out loud at the start of the video, not in the caption. The FTC Endorsement Guides put that duty on the poster, and on a RUCKUS brief an undisclosed paid post is a published denial reason. See [how we verify and deny](https://ruckusclipping.vercel.app/verification).

#### Day 1, day 3, day 7

The week holds three jobs, and most buyers run the first one for all seven days.

| Day | The job | What you and RUCKUS do
| Day 1 | Move volume, answer everything. | Clear the queue inside the published window, drop source material, freeze the brief. You are learning what your bench does well.
| Day 3 | Cut what is not working. | RUCKUS reports what cleared review and what got denied. You move the rest of the budget toward what cleared.
| Day 7 | Capture attention into something you own. | Point the surviving formats at whatever someone can follow or join after the week. Views you do not convert stay with the platform.

Content Rewards, where RUCKUS campaigns run, currently counts CPM views for 7 days from the post going live, then holds the payout 3 days. Read [how a campaign runs end to end](https://ruckusclipping.vercel.app/how-it-works).

#### If you run a roleplay server, this is a GTA 5 week

GTA 6 reaches consoles on 19 November 2026. Roleplay runs on PC, Rockstar has announced no PC version, and no roleplay date exists to plan around. Rockstar acquired Cfx.re in 2023 and has never announced GTA 6 support for Cfx.re or FiveM, which is the part people skip.

So a server buying clips that week markets a GTA 5 business to an audience arriving for GTA 6. That needs its own brief: clippers cut GTA 5 footage, and your landing point says what someone can join tonight. [The server brief](https://ruckusclipping.vercel.app/servers) goes through it.

No launch-week case study to show you

RUCKUS has run no paid campaigns, so we have no launch-week results and no numbers from a past November. Nobody selling a GTA 6 launch playbook has them either. Check the standard instead: brief fields, denial list and review window, published before you fund anything.

#### Attention is not a payday

Launch week moves an unusual amount of attention, and attention is not revenue. A buyer expecting those views to convert to sales inside the same seven days will call the campaign a failure while it does its job.

The asset is what survives the week: accounts carrying an audience, formats you tested against real denials, clippers who know your brief. Those can carry into the next campaign and the spike cannot. Write which one you are buying into the brief.

#### Questions, answered

##### How late can I book a campaign for launch week?

The platform sets the hard constraint, not us. Your campaign has to be funded and live in your own organization before the 19th, and funding clears on the platform's schedule. Booking two weeks out removes the dry run and the source-material lead time.

##### Should I spend the whole budget on day 1?

No, and the day 3 row above is why. Day 1 tells you which formats clear review and which platforms your bench reaches, and that information only exists once clips are live. Set the brief up so you can move the rest between platforms without rewriting terms.

##### Can I run a GTA 6 roleplay campaign that week?

No. Nothing exists to run it on. GTA 6 arrives on consoles, roleplay runs on PC, and Rockstar has announced no PC version and no support for Cfx.re or FiveM. Your campaign markets your GTA 5 server to people whose attention sits on GTA 6, and we brief it that way.

##### What does RUCKUS do that week that I could not do myself?

We write the brief to a published standard, hold the review queue against the window printed on it, and report daily on what cleared and what got denied. You could staff that yourself, and some buyers should. [The comparison page](https://ruckusclipping.vercel.app/compare) says when running it in house is the better call.

### Submission review & campaign setup

Know what to check before you edit, post and submit.

#### Before you edit

Open the actual campaign and save its current brief. Confirm the source pack, allowed platforms, account requirements, payout model, rate, minimums, cap and submission deadline. Campaign settings control the work; a Discord message is not a replacement for a published rule.

#### Build to the editing guide

- Use only the authorized source files and permitted music.

- Match the example clips, aspect ratio, length and caption treatment named in the brief.

- Make the opening understandable and preserve what the speaker actually meant.

- Include required handles, tags, links and paid-content disclosures.

- Check the exported file on a phone for clipped captions, audio problems and unreadable text.

#### RP server and creator campaign examples

These sample requirements show what a brief can ask for. The actual campaign supplies its own assets, wording, placements and timing.

GTA6LARPServer campaign · example placement

RP server campaignHelp viewers identify the server shown in the footage.

- Use the supplied transparent logo in the top left throughout the clip.

- Show the approved server-name banner for the opening three seconds.

- Use footage from that server and its approved source pack.

- Add the approved server handle and destination where the brief requires them.

@[CREATOR HANDLE]Playing on [SERVER NAME]

Creator campaignMake the streamer identifiable while showing where the moment happened.

- Use the creator’s approved VOD and retain the required handle or watermark.

- Show a banner such as “@[Creator] · Playing on [Server]” when that server relationship is part of the brief.

- Keep the facecam, reaction and important gameplay visible.

- Credit and tag the creator; use the approved stream or channel destination.

Example placements using our GTA6LARP banner scene and a GTA VI trailer still. These are illustrations, not a live RP server or client campaign. A real campaign supplies matching footage, logos and approved wording.

##### What makes the placement ready for approval?

- Correct assets: use the exact file from the asset pack, preserve its proportions and follow the approved colors.

- Readable on a phone: keep logos, captions and banners inside the safe area shown in the campaign template, away from platform buttons and the bottom caption area.

- Exact wording and timing: the brief should say whether a logo stays throughout, how long a banner appears and which tags, links and disclosures are required.

- No obstructed moment: overlays must not cover subtitles, faces, the key action or essential HUD information.

- Preview before posting: compare the exported clip to the annotated example and obtain a draft approval when the campaign requires it.

For a joint creator and server campaign, agree the primary destination, logo order and both parties’ permissions before clippers start. Give them one approved overlay template and one review route.

#### Check whether a draft is required

Some campaigns require pre-post approval. Upload the draft, respond to revision notes and wait for approval before publishing. Use the account approved for that campaign.

#### Post, then submit the link

For a posting campaign, publish on the approved public account and submit its live URL. Current Content Rewards terms specify submission within 30 minutes of posting. Check the campaign and applicable terms for the exact process. Keep a record of your source, draft, live link and submission receipt.

#### What a reviewer checks

The published brief is the baseline. Review source permission, context, required elements, editing requirements, posting account and the submission window. Record a decision and a specific reason. A failed requirement should be named so the clipper understands what to change. A quality checklist helps preparation; it does not guarantee approval or payment.

#### Feedback, corrections and disputes

Follow the platform’s revision or appeal process. Do not delete or alter a submitted post to hide a problem; ask how a correction should be handled. Flag suspicious activity for investigation. A sudden view spike alone does not establish fraud.

#### Approval and payment are different stages

Approval is followed by the campaign’s validation and payout rules. CPM, per-post and retainer campaigns have different mechanics. Check your balance and status in Content Rewards, with withdrawals through Whop. RUCKUS bills its studio fee to the buyer separately.

#### RUCKUS operating standard

Before launch we agree the review coverage, prepare a short brief and annotated examples, and assign a named reviewer. The review log should record the submission, decision, rule involved and next action. Repeated errors feed back into the guide and training. Weekly reports separate submissions, approvals, qualifying views, spend and measured destination actions.

## Campaign reporting

[Read on the website](https://gta6clipping.com/guides/measuring-a-campaign)

[Skip to content](https://gta6clipping.com/guides/measuring-a-campaign#main-content)

[GTA 6 Clipping](https://gta6clipping.com/) / Measuring it

### Measuring a campaign

View counts alone tell you almost nothing, so here is what RUCKUS counts for you, when we count it, and which numbers we throw away.

#### Start with what the views did

The platform shows you a total view count within a day of launch. That number is the easiest one to quote and the weakest one to act on. Views tell you how far the clips travelled, not what the clips did to anything you care about.

You funded the campaign to move something: joins on a Discord, players on a server, buyers on a page. Measure that first. A view count on its own is a vanity number.

#### Verified views against raw views

Every clip carries two numbers. TikTok, Instagram, YouTube or X prints a raw count on the post. The campaign platform counts the verified views: traffic its own checks recognise on the exact link the clipper submitted. Payouts run on the verified number, so your reporting has to run on it too, or the two never reconcile.

The gap between them is normal. It widens when a clip picks up traffic the platform cannot attribute, when a clipper deletes a post, and when bot traffic gets stripped. A wide gap on one clipper is worth a question. RUCKUS prints both numbers side by side, and [the verification page](https://ruckusclipping.vercel.app/verification) covers review.

| Count this | Not this | Why
| Verified views on submitted links | Raw counts on the posts | Payout and reporting need one number.
| Joins on the campaign invite link | Total growth in the period | Growth includes everything else you did.
| Clips live at day 14 and day 30 | Clips counted once at day 7 | A deleted clip is reach you lost.
| Cost per verified view, fee included | Cost per clip | Clip count rewards volume, not reach.

#### The window closes before you expect it

Content Rewards, the platform RUCKUS campaigns will run on, currently counts views on a CPM campaign for 7 days from the moment a post goes live, then holds the payout 3 days before release. Views arriving on day 9 are real views that earn nothing, so a clipper can honestly screenshot a post showing more than the campaign counted. The hold sits after the window, so a campaign launched on a Monday is not settled the following Monday. RUCKUS publishes no figure for how views distribute inside that window, because we have run no campaign to measure one.

#### Only one join is countable

This is where most clipping reporting falls apart. A clipper posts on a clipper's own account, and when a viewer follows that account no platform attributes anything to you, because nothing natively links your campaign to a follow on somebody else's profile.

One join is countable: the one arriving through a link you issued for that campaign. Put a dedicated Discord invite or tracked URL in the required elements of the brief, issue a separate link per campaign, and read the count off that link rather than off your member total. RUCKUS reports it as a floor and labels it so: a number you can defend beats one that flatters the campaign.

Write the baseline down before launch

On the day before clips go live, record your member count, follower count, daily traffic and daily sales. Without that line you cannot separate the campaign from whatever was already happening to your business.

#### Day 14 and day 30: is the clip still there

A total measured at day 7 assumes the clips are still up. Some are not. Clippers delete posts, platforms suspend accounts, footage draws a copyright claim, and a clipper editing a caption sometimes strips the disclosure off a paid post.

RUCKUS re-checks every approved clip at day 14 and again at day 30. Is the post still live at the submitted link? Is the required disclosure still on it? Does the clip still carry the elements the brief asked for?

A campaign whose clips have half vanished delivered less than the day-7 report claimed. Compliance is the second reason to look: a clipper paid to post has a material connection to you and has to disclose it out loud at the start of the video, and that duty outlasts the tracking window. An undisclosed paid post is a published denial reason on a RUCKUS brief.

#### Cost per verified view

One figure survives contact with a second campaign, a different platform and a different quarter. Take everything the campaign cost you: the pot you funded in your own organization, plus the RUCKUS fee, which we invoice you separately at 20% of the approved budget and never take out of the clipper pot. Divide that by verified views once the window has closed.

Include the fee, because a number built on the pot alone understates what you spent. Use verified views. Recalculate at day 30 on the clips still live. Our fee and the $3,000 campaign floor sit on [the pricing page](https://ruckusclipping.vercel.app/pricing), and the comparison against ads is on [the compare page](https://ruckusclipping.vercel.app/compare).

RUCKUS publishes no benchmark here. We have run no paid campaigns, so we have no honest number to publish and will not invent one. Your first campaign sets your own baseline.

November moves numbers for reasons that are not your campaign

GTA 6 reaches consoles on 19 November 2026 and attention across the category can rise around a date like that, so raw views can climb because the category climbed. Cost per verified view and invite joins flatter less. Roleplay runs on PC and no PC version has been announced, so do not plan around a roleplay date. RUCKUS is not affiliated with or endorsed by Rockstar Games or Take-Two Interactive.

#### The weekly report

RUCKUS is a studio and creator services business, and this report is much of what the fee buys. One lands every week the campaign runs, plus a final one after the day 30 re-check.

- Clips submitted, approved and denied, with the reason against each denial.

- Verified views on approved clips, raw views beside them, and the gap.

- Budget spent and remaining, read off the platform rather than our notes.

- Joins on the campaign invite link, against your pre-launch baseline.

- Cost per verified view to date, fee included.

- Clips still live at the latest re-check, and any that failed a disclosure check.

No RUCKUS report contains a projection. We report what happened and what we changed.

#### What to leave out

Likes, shares and comment totals belong in a clipper's review queue, and follower growth on a clipper's account belongs to the clipper. One outlier clip is not a campaign result. Read the comments by hand, though: viewers naming your server tell you the clips reached the right people.

#### Questions, answered

##### How long before I can call a campaign finished?

On Content Rewards the payout currently settles after 7 days of counting and a 3-day hold. Your spend is fixed then, but the reach is not confirmed until the day 14 and day 30 re-checks, so the final report lands about a month later.

##### Can you tie one clip to one sale or one Discord join?

No, and anyone claiming otherwise is selling you a dashboard. A tracked link per campaign is countable. A link per clip is possible on some platforms, but it breaks how clippers work. We report invite joins as a floor.

##### What is a good cost per verified view?

RUCKUS cannot tell you: we have run no paid campaigns and will not publish a number we have not earned. Work out what the same reach costs you through paid ads, then set that against your day 30 figure.

##### The clips travelled and nothing happened. What do I look at?

Work backwards. Check whether the brief asked viewers to do anything, whether the invite link sat in the required elements, and whether it appeared on screen rather than in a caption nobody opened. Then check the audience. That diagnosis belongs in the next brief, covered on [how it works](https://ruckusclipping.vercel.app/how-it-works).

### Clipping against paid ads

Paid social buys impressions against an audience you pick, and a clipping campaign pays for verified views on posts somebody chose to watch.

#### The two buy different things

A paid social buy purchases impressions. You pick an audience inside the ad manager, the platform delivers your creative into feeds until the budget is spent, and the dashboard reports how many times your asset appeared. The person on the other end never asked to see it.

A clipping campaign pays per 1,000 verified views on a post that reached a viewer through a feed rather than an ad slot. Clippers cut your source material, post it on their own accounts, and the platform counts the views its own tracking recognises. Nobody buys the placement, so nobody can commit to the number in advance.

An impression and a view are not the same object, so dividing one cost by the other compares numbers that were never measured the same way.

The one price RUCKUS publishes

RUCKUS quotes no market rate for either side of this comparison. We have run no campaigns of our own to quote from, and we will not repeat a per-1,000 figure we cannot put a named source against. Read the impression side out of your own ad account, on your own dates. RUCKUS publishes one price of its own, on [the pricing page](https://ruckusclipping.vercel.app/pricing): a 20% fee on the approved budget, invoiced to you and never taken from the clipper pot, on campaigns starting at $3,000.

#### Side by side

| What you are deciding | Paid social | A clipping campaign
| What the budget buys | Impressions served to an audience you defined. | Verified views on posts people chose to watch.
| Targeting | Country, age, language, interest, custom audience. | Platform and format only. Whoever the clip reaches is who you reached.
| Delivery | The platform spends the budget and reports what it served. | Nobody commits to a delivery number, including us.
| When the budget stops | Delivery stops with the spend. | Approved posts stay on the clippers' accounts.
| Disclosure | The platform labels the placement as an ad. | The clipper says it out loud at the start of the video.

#### Where paid ads win outright

Anyone selling you clipping by pretending ads are broken is selling. Here is what an ad account does that a clipping campaign cannot.

- Targeting. You reach one country, one age band and one interest group, and you exclude everyone else.

- Delivery against budget. The platform commits to spending your money and reports what it served. A clipper commits to posting, and the audience decides the rest.

- Control of every asset. Your team approves the file that runs. In clipping you approve a standard beforehand and individual posts afterwards.

- Attribution. A pixel ties a click to a signup inside one dashboard. Clipping gives you post links and view counts, and you join those to your own numbers.

- Retargeting and frequency. You chase the people who reached your checkout and stopped, and you cap how often anyone sees you. Clipping has no equivalent.

- Switching it off. You pause an ad set in one click. A post already live stays live.

If the job is a signup this week from 25 to 34 year olds in the United Kingdom, buy ads. RUCKUS says that before taking a brief, not after invoicing for one.

#### What clipping is bad at

- It cannot aim. You choose the platforms and the source material, and the recommendation system chooses the viewer.

- Nobody guarantees delivery. A funded pot can go out slowly, or to fewer clips than you expected. Any operator quoting you a view number is quoting a wish.

- You do not control every frame. Dozens of people cut your footage their own way, and review happens after a post is already public.

- It starts slower. Writing the brief, clearing the footage and getting clippers moving takes days that an ad set does not.

- It needs raw material. Streams, gameplay, trailers, podcasts and long-form uploads all work. A brand with nothing to cut has to make something first.

- It costs review time. Somebody approves and denies against a published standard every day the campaign runs. RUCKUS does that part, and the 20% fee covers it.

#### What clipping is good at

- Cost per verified view. Divide the approved budget by the verified views the platform counted and you get one honest number. It is knowable after a campaign, never before one.

- The posts outlive the budget. An ad disappears when the spend stops. An approved clip stays on a real account and keeps whatever search and recommendation surface it earned.

- Chosen attention. Nobody rented the placement, so a viewer reached the post through a feed they were already scrolling instead of an ad slot you bought.

- Volume of attempts. Each clipper who takes the brief makes a separate editorial decision about your footage. The clips that travel tell you which hook holds this audience, and nobody can tell you in advance how many clippers take a brief.

#### A serious buyer runs both

The two are not rivals inside a real plan. They do different jobs in the same week.

- Run the clipping campaign for reach and for creative signal across the whole audience.

- Watch which clips hold attention, then rebuild those hooks as paid creative in your own ad account.

- Point the ads at the offer, the link and the retargeting pool, because ads do that better than anything else.

- Report both against the same dates. [Measuring a campaign](https://gta6clipping.com/guides/measuring-a-campaign) covers the columns.

One warning on step two. Reposting a clipper's edit as your own ad needs a licence, and that permission belongs in the brief before anybody cuts.

#### What 19 November 2026 changes

GTA 6 reaches consoles on 19 November 2026, and a lot of brands want the same weeks. Paid social runs on an auction, so when more advertisers bid against the same audience at once, each of them pays more for the same placement. Nobody can tell you what that auction will cost.

The clipping side has a different constraint. Its supply is people who already cut this content, and a bench takes weeks to recruit rather than an afternoon to buy. RUCKUS has run no paid campaigns yet, has no client results to show you, and will not manufacture any. Roleplay runs on PC, Rockstar has announced no PC version, and no date exists for a GTA 6 roleplay lane. RUCKUS is a studio and creator services business, not affiliated with or endorsed by Rockstar Games or Take-Two Interactive.

#### Questions, answered

##### Is clipping cheaper than running ads?

Nobody can answer that before a campaign runs, and an operator who does is guessing at the number that decides it. You measure it afterwards on one basis: the approved budget divided by verified views, next to your ad account's cost per 1,000 on the same dates. Run one campaign and you own the answer instead of somebody's claim.

##### Can I target one country or one age group with a clipping campaign?

Not the way an ad manager does. You choose the platforms, the format and the source material, and the platform's recommendation system chooses the viewer. If a country or age restriction is a hard requirement, that part of the plan belongs in your ad account.

##### Do the clips come down when my campaign ends?

No. Approved posts stay on the clippers' own accounts after the budget is spent, which is a real difference from a media buy. Removal, exclusivity and any licence you want for your own channels are terms you set in the brief before clippers start. [How it works](https://ruckusclipping.vercel.app/how-it-works) walks through what a brief locks down.

##### How do the disclosure rules compare?

Ads carry the platform's paid label automatically. A clipper paid to post has a material connection to you, has to say so at the start of the video, and has to switch on the platform's branded content tool. On RUCKUS campaigns an undisclosed paid post is a published denial reason, so it does not get paid. [Verification](https://ruckusclipping.vercel.app/verification) covers the review standard.

#### What does RUCKUS handle?

Campaign planning, a curated source pack, the brief and editing examples, clipper coordination, submission review and reporting. The agreed scope defines output, platforms, review coverage and budget.

#### Who posts the clips?

Clippers publish to their approved social accounts for distribution campaigns. Editing for your own channels is a separate production scope. We agree which model you need before launch.

#### What budget do I need?

Campaign budgets start at $3,000. The 20% RUCKUS studio fee is billed separately to the buyer. Production and platform charges are quoted separately. Your campaign stays in your own Content Rewards organization.

#### Can a creator and RP owner fund one campaign together?

Yes, this can be scoped if the footage permissions, approval contact, budget contributions and reporting goals are agreed before launch. Server features should not be represented as available unless they are live.

#### How is quality controlled?

Requirements and examples are written into the campaign before launch. Reviewers check submissions against them, record specific feedback and escalate disputed or suspicious activity. Pre-post review can be included where the campaign supports it.

#### Can we arrange ongoing editing or retainers?

Yes. Discuss your stream schedule, short-form and long-form workload, channel ownership, turnaround and budget. A retainer is agreed work with defined deliverables and availability.
