GTA 6 Clipping RP server marketing

RP server marketing in the launch window

Your server runs on GTA V today, and the launch sends new viewers looking for GTA content on short-form video. Clips of your own city are how those viewers find it.

Written for buyers. Clippers start at GTA 6 Clippers: free guides, campaigns and the rules.

What the launch changes, and what it does not

Rockstar Games ships GTA 6 to PS5 and Xbox Series X|S on 19 November 2026. Roleplay servers run on PC, and nobody has announced a PC version of GTA 6, so nobody can give you a GTA 6 roleplay date. Rockstar acquired Cfx.re, the team behind FiveM, in 2023 and has never announced GTA 6 support for it.

Your server keeps running on GTA V through the launch. The audience is what moves: some of the people arriving for GTA 6 will look for more GTA content on TikTok, Shorts and Reels, and a clip from your city can be the first roleplay they see.

Clip your own world

Build the clips from footage your server owns or has permission to use: your streamers' broadcasts of your city, with each streamer's written agreement, and your own recordings of events. Leave Rockstar's trailer footage out of your marketing. It belongs to Rockstar, and viewers who see it learn about the game and nothing about your server.

Pick moments a stranger understands without context: a chase that ends somewhere unexpected, a courtroom scene, a business opening night. Your regulars already know the lore, so cut for the person who has never heard of your server.

What a server clip must not promise

Every FiveM server agrees to the Cfx.re platform rules, so hold your marketing to them too. Tebex is the only permitted processor for in-server sales. No server may sell in-game currency for real money or run chance mechanics in any currency, and no server may use real-brand vehicles or anyone else's intellectual property. RUCKUS does not run clips that advertise any of those.

If you pay clippers or creators to post about your server, each of them discloses the paid clip with an ad label. Under the FTC's Endorsement Guides (16 CFR 255), payment for a post is a material connection, and the person posting has to disclose it.

Three ways to run it

RUCKUS runs clipping for roleplay servers as a studio service, described in full in clipping for GTA roleplay servers at RUCKUS.

Your own teamYour staff and streamers cut clips from your city and post them on the server's own accounts.Your team's time.

What to measure

Measure what the clips bring to the server as well as the views on them: new members in your Discord each week, whitelist applications, and the viewer counts of the streamers whose clips ran. Write those numbers down for the four weeks before launch week, so you have something to compare against afterwards.

Questions, answered

Is there a GTA 6 roleplay date I can announce to my community?

No. Roleplay runs on PC, Rockstar has announced GTA 6 for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S only, and Rockstar has never announced GTA 6 support for Cfx.re or FiveM. Any GTA 6 roleplay date your community sees is invented, so do not repeat one.

Can I use GTA 6 trailer footage in my server's clips?

The trailers belong to Rockstar Games. RUCKUS builds server campaigns from your own streams and recordings, which show viewers your city instead of the game's own marketing.

What does RUCKUS charge a roleplay server?

A clipper network campaign starts at a $1,000 budget that you fund in your own account, plus a 20% fee on a separate invoice.

Can my server sell perks to new players who arrive from clips?

Only through Tebex, and only in ways the Cfx.re rules allow: no in-game currency for real money and no chance mechanics in any currency. Read the current Cfx.re terms before you launch an offer.
